Justin began his Brazilian Jiu-jitsu journey in 2001 and fell in love with the technical problem solving nature of the art. Since then he has also spent considerable time training in Muay Thai, boxing, wrestling and mixed martial arts both in Australia and Canada. Justin is an avid jiu-jitsu competitor, winning gold at the 2016 Pan Pacs, but also likes to ensure his students get a solid base in self defense.
Justin strongly believes in ensuring his students know WHY a technique works, WHEN/WHERE to use it and of course the body mechanics of HOW it works.
